Could possibly be because of Pellegrini. At least that's the only reason I have!

I could well believe there’s been a decent uplift with the manager appointment and the approaching deadline, that being said I wouldn’t believe a word that comes from them through their mouthpiece.

Re: Season ticket renewals - 87/88%
I remember the disgruntlement at the end of the 1991-92 season when thousands of season ticket holders around the ground threw their season ticket booklets onto the pitch after we had beaten Nottingham Forest 3-2.

Many supporters around me in the lower west vowed not to renew for the following season. At the first match of the next season, the vast majority of those who vowed not to return were still sitting in their seats. I always take with a pinch of salt what the majority of supporters say.

Re: Season ticket renewals - 87/88%
Given that the deadline for renewals is 1st June the figure is meaningless.

But I hope it stays low as I am looking to relocate.

Re: Season ticket renewals - 87/88%
I'm glad that most FANS renewed. I never had my doubts about that.

Hopefully, the 5k non-renewers are more DRUIDS, GOGGLEBOXERS and NON-LONDON BOROUGH WANKERS who are more obsessed with plastic and concrete surrounding the playing field than they are about SUPPORTING the team that they claim to follow with a passion.

Good riddance, I say.

It's amazing isn't it how all of these people living within the sound of Bow Bells have suddenly remembered that they want to go every other week isn't it, dicksie?

They weren't intersted at UP, why is that?

I'm sure the thousands of fans from Kent and Essex will be pleased to know you'd like them to stop showing up as well, nevermind those who come from further afield putting more effort than most to going.

Incredible support once again from our own, does make you wonder how big we could be if we ever got owners as passionate about West Ham as the supporters

Sorry mate but you don't half spout some bollocks

You were the chief protagonist on here for getting shot of the board and the manager now you are pleased that the fans are going !

You must be like that Fast Show character that changes his mind when challenged !

Re: Season ticket renewals - 87/88%
I did the dirty deed and renewed today, possibly against my better judgement.

I've never come closer to fucking it off after last season. Absolutely turgid shit from start to finish and a board I've come to despise. I hated Terry Brown but never thought about punching him and his kids in the head if I ever met him.

This is the 'one last chance' season for me. The absolute clincher. None of us can be considered glory hunters but there must be a massive improvement in the quality of the football commensurate to playing in a massive 60,000 seater stadium.

WE didn't create the pressure of playing in front of a massive crowd, they did when they moved us there. At the moment it looks like we're a non-league club who has fluked its way to the Checkertrade Cup Final at Wembley every other week. We look like a massive human shit in a posh swimming pool.
